Gospel Fest is a non-denominational charitable organization that features local and neighbouring artists and musicians at free outdoor concerts. Monthly concerts take place from June through to September. This is the ninth consecutive summer that the Gospel Fest concerts have been running and it continues to be well received by the community as attendance has grown each year.
Local churches, businesses, and organizations continue to fund Gospel Fest and the community has been very generous in their support. Our expenses include sound equipment rentals, tents, insurance, advertising, set decorations, and costs associated with our children's programs, which we continue to offer at no-charge. We also provide honorariums to artists and others so they may continue to write and perform Gospel music and drama.
It is our sincere desire to expand the performances to include larger name acts as headliners, which are blended in with our high-caliber local talent. This will expose our local artists to a larger audience and give them experience with professional Gospel artists who perform on the national stage.
